Where the cliff learns surrender through a thousand quiet endings
This photo was taken during my visit to Jeypore. Teerathgarh Waterfall is a magnificent block-type waterfall located in the Kanger Valley National Park in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, India. The water of the Kanger River plunges from a height of approximately 91 meters (300 feet) in multiple drops, creating a stunning, milky-white cascade amidst lush green forests.

Luang Pho Tho, Wat Phanan Choeng, Ayutthaya, Thailand
This image was made inside Wat Phanan Choeng, facing the monumental seated Buddha known as Luang Pho Tho. The figure dominates the interior, framed by densely patterned columns and a richly decorated ceiling. Two smaller attendant figures stand in prayer on either side. I stood close to the base of the statue, using a wide angle to include the surrounding structure and ornamentation. Intent was to record the scale, spatial compression, and visual density.

Viewed from the upper levels of the megastructure Taipei 101, the image records the approach of a midday storm over the city. Low clouds stretch across the skyline as bands of rain move through the urban landscape, softening distant buildings and reducing visibility. The monochrome treatment emphasizes tonal shifts between cloud cover, rainfall, and the dense grid of structures below. The composition documents a brief atmospheric transition, where weather alters the scale and legibility of the city within minutes.

The Monastic Basilica at Strahov Monastery exemplifies the theatrical richness of Baroque sacred architecture. The soaring nave is defined by rhythmic arches, elaborately carved choir stalls, and a continuous sequence of ceiling frescoes depicting biblical narratives, framed by ornate stucco work. Warm golds, soft pastels, and sculptural detailing guide the eye toward the illuminated altar, reinforcing a sense of procession & devotion.

Lightning 101, Taipei, Taiwan
An evening storm moved across Taipei with steady rain, followed by repeated lightning. This image was made from inside a hotel room, shooting through the window as the city lights remained visible beneath low cloud cover. Multiple lightning strikes occurred during the storm, but in this frame the discharge appears momentarily aligned beside Taipei 101, as if mocking and asking who’s taller. The brief illumination outlines both the tower and surrounding buildings before fading back into darkness.

Jerusalem Synagogue, Prague, Czech Republic
An example of Moorish Revival architecture with Art Nouveau influences, the Jerusalem Synagogue is one of Europe’s most visually expressive Jewish sacred spaces. The interior reveals a strong axial symmetry—layered arches, stained-glass windows, gilded chandeliers, and an intricately patterned ceiling guiding the eye toward the Ark. Looking for an element on this otherwise flat beach; the waves breaking against that small rock gave me exactly that, a quiet cascade in motion. The sunrise arrived with the layered clouds, dramatic yet restrained, asking for patience rather than haste. A slight long exposure softened the rush of water, letting movement converse with stillness. In that brief dialogue between light, rock, and tide, the drama revealed itself; unforced, complete.
